Fabrice Dodane Arbois Blanc Chardonnay

Fabrice Dodane of Domaine de Saint Pierre has about 6 hectares of vines growing in the limestone and marl soils of Arbois and the Côtes du Jura appellations. Certified organic since 2012, he ferments with native yeasts and does not fine or filter any of the wines. Bright, aromatic, and complex with notes of green apple, white peach, Meyer lemon curd, crushed chalk, and wet stone minerality, balanced by a faint hint of toasted brioche. Bone-dry and intensely saline on the palate, leaving lingering citrus zest and limestone chalkiness.
