Distilled in August 2009 and bottled in June 2026, it was matured for 16 years in a refill bourbon barrel before being bottled at 48% ABV from Cask #90003538. With an outturn of just 136 bottles, this is a rare and highly collectable whisky. Matured in a refill bourbon cask, the whisky displays Craigellachie's distinctive waxy texture alongside vibrant citrus and orchard fruit. The nose reveals lemon zest, baked apple, pineapple syrup, vanilla cream, toasted coconut, and a delicate mineral note. The palate offers soft sweetness, citrus curd, toasted vanilla, gentle oak spice, and the distillery's unmistakable weight, leading to a long finish of citrus oils, vanilla fudge, toasted barley, and warming oak.
