All Things Tote Class

Join us for the All Things Tote Class, a hands on sewing class focused on creating a tote project in a friendly, encouraging environment. This class is a great fit for anyone who wants guided instruction while working through the included pattern. Fabric and batting are extra, so students will need to plan for those materials separately. What You’ll Learn Your instructor will guide you through the class project at a comfortable pace, using the included pattern as the class reference. Students will work step by step through the tote project with time for hands-on practice and questions throughout the class. Each step will be explained as students work through the pattern, with time to ask questions and receive guidance during class. The goal is for students to leave feeling more confident with the project and the techniques used to complete it. Space is limited for each session to ensure plenty of individual support and hands on instruction. Mandatory Supply List Please bring the following items to class. Familiarity with your sewing machine is required. Sewing machine in good working order Prior knowledge of threading your machine, winding a bobbin, and inserting the bobbin is required Extra machine needles Bobbins Thread Rotary cutter Quilting ruler, 6" x 24" or 6 ½" x 24" Scissors Seam ripper Pins or clips Pin cushion or small container Marking tool of choice Pencil Blue wash away pen Purple air erase pen Chaco chalk pen Frixion pen Fabric requirements and additional materials will be provided closer to the class date.
