1930s Vintage Raspberry Pink and Blue Striped Evening Gown

Absolutely stunning 30s/40s evening gown in a delicious raspberry pink and midnight blue vertical striped silky rayon fabric with short puffed sleeves. This beauty is giving strong Schiapparelli vibes but for a fraction of the budget you would expect to pay if she were designer. However she's most definitely a showstopper of 'Old Hollywood Glamour' gown and worthy for any red carpet event - you will feel like a million dollar movie star, perfect for photo-shoots and special occasions. Rounded scoop neckline, the upper bodice and sleeved are line with a tulle netting to ensure the poofiness of the sleeve. Pleat gathered upper bodice with a straight skirt. It fastens at the side with poppers. This is a hand made couture gown with no manufacturer or designer label attached, although it is strikingly similar to that famous Schiaparelli striped gown! Hand stitched hem. ★ MEASURES laid flat edge to edge (mannequin is 36 bust) ★ 40 - 42" bust. 30" waist. 40" hips (9" down from waist). 16" across shoulder seam to seam approx'. 13.5" approx shoulder to waist length. 46.5 waist to hem. ★ CONDITION ★ Absolutely marvellous - the only issues to note are a small speck on the bust as pictured. It had a modern addition of a polyester swag belt which didn't do her just at all so I have removed it. But if you'd still like it I can include it separately, just let me know. But apart from that it's splendiferous.
