Kehai Clock

Curator: Makoto Koizumi questioned whether a clock always needs to assert itself. Kehai softens the presence of time and the feeling of rigid timekeeping in the home. Kehai is a modern minimalist wall clock that softens the way time is seen. A translucent glass lens gently blurs the hands, leaving only hints of their movement and creating a quieter visual presence than a conventional clock. Instead of demanding attention, it blends naturally into contemporary interiors while remaining easy to read from a comfortable distance. Designed by Makoto Koizumi, Kehai brings a subtle interpretation of time to living rooms, offices and other calm spaces. Its compact aluminium body and silent sweep movement complement the understated design, while the distinctive red second hand provides a quiet point of focus behind the frosted glass.
