Beyond Knit & Purl: Lace

In this three hour class you’ll cover the building blocks of lace knitting. You’ll learn how to yarn over and how to work different increases and decreases. We’ll cover shawl structure, reading your lace knitting, tricks like lifelines and blocking, and working from charts. Materials Required: for the class are 5 mm needles and yarn in either DK or worsted. Skills Required: Able to work knit and purl stitches, working flat, some practice reading charts, and practice with either English or Continental style knitting. Instructor: Matt Sparling
