Reuseable Cockroach Rakhi

This Raksha Bandhan, we've come together to create a limited edition of handmade Cockroach Rakhis. Each rakhi is handcrafted by WLG Handicrafts, the organization we're proud to support through this collaboration. Every piece is made by hand, making each one slightly unique by the all women organization. These aren't just rakhis for a day. Once Raksha Bandhan is over, the cockroach can be reused as a brooch, so it continues to be worn long after the festival. We've made only 200 pieces in total. Since each one is handmade and available in limited quantities, we'll do our best to accommodate colour preferences, but we can't guarantee a specific colour. Symbols can say what words sometimes can’t. Rakhi is traditionally tied as a promise of protection from a brother. This year, we’re adding one more wish: may our brothers and sisters be as resilient as cockroaches.
