Correcting Mistakes in Knitted Lace

This is a one session class: Sunday, July 26th, 12:30-2:30pm Prerequisites: This is an intermediate class, you should already know how to cast on, knit, and purl Correcting Mistakes in Knitted Lace: Dropping a stitch in lace can be a tragedy, or a sneaky way to fix a mistake many rows below. Learn to easily fix a missing or misplaced yarnover and switch the direction of a decrease on the next row. We’ll also practice un-knitting lace both stitch by stitch and multiple rows. Materials: 40 yards easy to see yarn, knitting needles that are appropriate for your yarn, stitch markers. Homework: Cast on 22 stitches and work at least 8 rows in Feather Openwork: Row 1(WS): purl. Row 2: k1, *k2tog, yo, k1, yo, sl1, k1, psso, repeat from * to last st, k1. Repeat these two rows for pattern Ages 15+ Please note that the deadline to cancel or reschedule is 48 hours before the class time.
