1-Of-1 YARNBOW THE VAST

1-of-1 Blanket Knitted from the yarns left behind. The ends of cones, too short for a full piece, too special to discard. Each carries memory: colours I've used before, traces of past work. This blanket is made entirely by intuition. I choose what draws me in, tie each new thread by hand, and keep going until the length is reached. Over 120 colour changes, each one impossible to repeat. I couldn’t make the same thing again, even if I tried. Front and back are entirely different—a quiet result of so many yarns, so many shifts. Finished by hand. Labelled in Central Victoria with Australian cotton. Composition 100% Merino Wool
