Tikkurila Otex

Tikkurila Otex is a high-performance, single-pack solvent-based adhesion primer designed for challenging surfaces where conventional primers may fail. It offers excellent grip on smooth and non-porous substrates such as glass, tiles, melamine, PVC plastic, aluminium, zinc-coated metal, and surfaces previously coated with alkyd or acid-curing paints. In addition to difficult substrates, Otex is also suitable for use on wood, fibreboard, chipboard, and metal in dry interior settings, as well as exterior window frames treated with polyurethane or catalytic coatings. Its strong bonding capabilities make it an ideal preparatory coat for both repainting and new work where reliable adhesion is critical.
