Benifuuki - Allergy Relief Japanese Green Tea Powder (50g)

Benifuuki green tea (also written Benifuki, べにふうき) is a Japanese tea cultivar that is naturally rich in methylated catechins, a form of EGCG found in very few teas. In Japan it is widely enjoyed through the spring pollen season. This 50g (1.8 oz) resealable pouch holds the same Benifuuki powder as our 14 stick packs, which are being retired toward the end of 2026. One pouch makes about 84 cups, so it is the most economical way to enjoy it. Methylated catechins are usually bitter and astringent. The Arahataen research team grows this Benifuuki in a natural soil it developed, which keeps the catechins in the leaf while softening the bitterness. How to Drink: Stir 1/3 teaspoon (0.6 g) into 3.3 oz (100 ml) of hot water (175°F / 80°C) or cold water. It also mixes well into milk. You do not need a strainer or teapot.
