Each piece is handmade, resulting in subtle variations in size, glaze, and design that make every bowl one of a kind. Annie Raysse, born and raised in California, holds a graduate degree from NYU’s Studio Art program. Working across multiple mediums, she has focused her practice on ceramics in recent years. Her work is known for its organic, hand-formed quality, often blurring the line between sculpture and functional object. Drawing inspiration from the California coastline, her pieces reflect the textures of shells and coral, alongside a palette of sun-faded, coastal tones.
