With a single press of the start button, the tonearm automatically positions itself on the record and returns to its rest when playback is complete, while the motor switches off automatically for effortless listening. The mechanical automation disengages during playback, ensuring it has no impact on sound quality. Built around a floating sub-chassis design, the A2 effectively isolates the tonearm, platter bearing, and motor from external vibrations and unwanted resonance. This advanced construction, combined with a heavy MDF plinth and precision-balanced damped aluminum platter, delivers stable playback and exceptional sonic clarity. The A2 features an ultra-light 8.3-inch aluminum tonearm with precision cardanic bearings, factory-fitted with an Ortofon 2M Red moving magnet cartridge for detailed, dynamic sound with a warm musical character. The carbon fiber reinforced headshell provides excellent rigidity while maintaining low mass, allowing the cartridge to perform at its best. Electronic speed selection supports 33⅓, 45, and 78 RPM records without requiring manual belt changes. Users can also select the automatic drop point for either 7-inch singles or 12-inch LPs when playing 45 RPM records, adding flexibility for a wide range of vinyl collections.
