Bracelet Making Workshop for The Sameer Project

Join me for a fun and creative afternoon in support of The Sameer Project. I'm hosting a bracelet making workshop at East of Eden's Cafe (E17 4QP) on Sunday, 23rd August from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. This is a drop-in workshop, so you don't need to stay for the full two hours—simply arrive anytime between 3:00pm and 5:00pm, make yourself comfortable, and create at your own pace. Whether you have 20 minutes or the full two hours, I'd love to see you there! What's included: A selection of beautiful beads to choose from Materials to make two elastic bracelets (you can keep one and gift the other!) A lovely atmosphere at East of Eden's Cafe Ticket price: £10 per person (includes all materials) Fundraising: £5 from every ticket will be donated directly to The Sameer Project to support their vital work providing aid to displaced families in Gaza. Can't make it but still want to support? You can purchase a donation ticket or pre-order bracelets online, and pick them up on the day at the cafe. About The Sameer Project The Sameer Project is a Palestinian-led mutual aid initiative that provides rapid-response aid to displaced families in Gaza. Founded in April 2024 by Palestinians in the diaspora, they work with a ground team in Gaza to distribute food, water, shelter, medication, and medical care to the most vulnerable communities. Their ethos is to promote resilience, dignity, and agency for the families they serve, listening to what communities need rather than imposing conditional assistance.
