Cicada + Poppy

Painted cicada in gouache on paper with pressed red poppy, and bridal wreath spires with transparent blue glass backing. 4x4", dimensions before chain (chain is included). *Every piece of art is handmade and one of a kind. While paintings are sprayed with protective sealant, I would still recommend to keep out artwork of direct sunlight to help preserve the color in the pressed flora and paintings. They may eventually fade over time if kept in these conditions, however I do try to use flora that I have found is not likely to have as much natural fading.* **Caution: please be aware soldered glass contains small amounts of lead.
