Redheart Pen Blanks

Redheart, found in Central and South America, is a vivid hardwood famous for its bold reddish-pink color, which gradually darkens to a deeper red when exposed to light and air. It has a fine, consistent texture with a mostly straight grain, though occasional interlocking may appear. With moderate density, Redheart is easy to work with both hand and power tools, though its color may bleed when exposed to water during sanding or finishing. It accepts finishes well, resulting in a smooth, glossy surface that emphasizes its vibrant hue.
