Two strong adhesive pads hold the plate to the wall, and your doorbell screws neatly onto the plate — so the fixing is solid, not just stuck on. Beautiful doors and walls should be protected, not drilled. The adhesive pads need a smooth, clean, solid surface to grip — glass, uPVC, sealed or painted wood, vinyl siding or tile. Wipe the spot with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, then peel, press it on and attach your doorbell. Done in a few minutes, no mess, no repairs later. Built to stay put: industrial-strength adhesive pads, a grid design with plenty of screwable area for a secure hold, and easy-to-cut cable tabs if you've got a wired model. All the screws and fixings you need are in the box. These mounts are universal, so on some doorbells the plate may sit a little taller or wider than the device. That's normal for a one-size-fits-many part and doesn't affect how it works or how securely it holds — just don't expect it to match your doorbell's exact outline.
