Console Table, 36.5 x 12 x 32" tall- Iron Wrap

Console table made with 100% local antique heart pine from a renovated home in Walterboro, SC circa 1840. Table has Low shelf. Rustic Texture and natural color hue The iron wrap is made from standard mild steel. Heated and bent the piece around a pre made jig and welded to my welding table. The end pieces were then welded and blended to look seamless. The finish is a traditional blacksmith finish where the metal is heated again cherry red and quenched in boiled linseed oil. This was done in a custom made square tank. Quenching in oil is also a hardening process as well. 36.5 x 12 x 32" tall $995 Local pick up is M-F from 9-2pm.
