Spring 2026 Donghe

Spring 2026, Ancient tea gardens Donghe town, Lancang county, Pu'er Good fragrance and mouthfeel, halfway between Jingmai and Mengku This is a new area we're offering this year. This tea starts with pleasant bitterness, balanced by a good amount of sweetness. Fresh foresty fragrance and lively soup ensue. Some astringency creeps up later in the session. It reminds of Jingmai, Mang Nuo and Dong Guo in some aspects. Overall it's a unique experience, a pleasant bite and interesting personality, much more aggressive than Bangwai, located not far from that mountain. The Huigan and Chaqi are mild, it's mostly an experience for the nose and the mouth.
