Antique Alsace Kelsch Red White Blue Check Sewing Fabric

Antique French red, white and blue check fabric. From the Alsace region, this traditional plaid material is know as 'kelsch' and is handwoven in linen and cotton. Size : 0.71m wide (28inches ) x 1.64 m long( 65inches). This piece of fabric has been unpicked from a larger piece and has a hem on one end with buttonholes. Use it to make cushions, a curtain or a blind. It is in excellent condition, no marks or wear. One side is slightly paler than the other. Care instructions: Machine wash - warm. Line dry.
