Carmilla -- Solnit Base (sock)
Carmilla (1872, J. Sheridan Le Fanu) predates Bram Stoker's Dracula, making it one of the first widely-known fictional accounts of vampires. In a dreary castle in Styria, narrator Laura is seduced and then preyed upon by the mysterious Carmilla, a vampire. Murky grays are dappled with subtle hints of overgrown green, black, and the deepest romantic violet. Base: Solnit (Sock) 75% Superwash Merino Wool; 25% Recycled Nylon. 437 yards / 100 grams Price listed is per one (1) skein of yarn.
