Details Our titanium frame sets use custom multi-butted, cold-formed oversized 3Al-2.5V tubing paired with a chromoly steel fork. The result is a frame that's approximately two pounds lighter than its steel counterpart, with the corrosion resistance and fatigue life that make titanium a true forever material. Same geometry, same rack and fender mounts, same ride-anywhere capability. We've been riding these frames in production and prototype form for several years now, and it's the bike we find ourselves reaching for more than any other for both loaded touring and swoopy trail riding. If you appreciate the lighter weight, corrosion resistance, and dreamy ride quality that titanium offers, then the titanium version of your favorite Tumbleweed is a great option.
