Your Protection Plan is separate from and in addition to your standard manufacturer's warranty. While your warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, the Protection Plan covers accidental damage that occurs during everyday use. If your prescription has changed, an updated valid prescription will be required before replacement lenses can be produced. Warranty vs. Protection Plan Manufacturer's Warranty Covers defects in materials and workmanship. Optical Protection Plan Covers accidental damage that occurs after purchase, including your original frame and prescription lenses. One Protection Plan covers one pair of optical eyewear and includes one replacement claim during the one-year coverage period.
