Warm strawberry, dried apricot and creamy caramel praline create a soft, juicy cup with gentle lingering sweetness. Gogogu Washing Station sits in the Kofee district of Ethiopia’s celebrated Guji region, where more than 700 local growers deliver freshly harvested coffee cherries throughout the season. Most producers farm around two hectares of land, growing coffee alongside other crops, with coffee providing a vital source of income for their families. By processing cherries centrally, the washing station helps hundreds of smallholder farmers consistently produce high-quality coffees while showcasing the vibrant, fruit-forward character that has made Guji one of Ethiopia’s most admired coffee-growing regions. At Gogogu, every delivery is carefully sorted, weighed and processed using traditional Ethiopian washed and natural methods before drying slowly on raised beds. For this coffee we paid 53% above the Fair Trade price.
