Traditional ABS formulations suffer from inter-layer delamination when pushed past 100 mm/s due to inadequate thermal retention during rapid deposition. Bambu Lab ABS exhibits optimised melt-flow dynamics allowing clean extrusion up to 300 mm/s inside enclosed build chambers. AMS Auto-Recognition & Calibration Every spool features an integrated RFID tab read natively by the Automatic Material System (AMS). Upon loading, the printer syncs temperature targets, retraction distances, and flow ratios directly into Bambu Studio. This prevents operator entry errors and ensures precise volumetric pressure advance compensation. Thermal & Mechanical Endurance With a Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of 87°C under 0.45 MPa load and a Vicat Softening Point of 94°C, this material withstands hot operating environments—such as motor mounts, electronics enclosures, and custom ducting—without structural creep.
