Rust Reminiscence

Rust Reminiscence is a straight-cut kurta in an earthy rust hue reminiscent of a dry riverbed, bringing together the rich textures of Bagru’s hand-block printing and hand embroidery. Foliage motifs in natural-dyed shades of black, beige and grey add depth to the print. A collar neckline in rich Mashru is edged with antique gold and coloured-thread embroidery, continuing along the centre-front placket to the waist and at the sleeve hems. At the back, a V-shaped opening falls unexpectedly from the collar, adding a quiet element of surprise to the straight silhouette.
