READY TO SHIP These handmade leather knife rolls are made using the finest Italian vachetta leather and "bio-suede" leather for the interior. Both leathers are vegetable-tanned and free of harmful chemicals or heavy metals. Our full-grain Italian vachetta hides are a byproduct from free-roaming French beef cattle. The hides are naturally tanned by artisan tanners using chestnuts in Tuscany, Italy. We import all of the hides in their natural state and then stain them by hand using eco-friendly dyes in our studio. The velvety suede interior leather comes from a very environmentally forward tannery in Portugal that turns any waste from the tanning process into natural fertilizer. Knife roll measures 18" x 25" when lying fully open 12 interior pockets for knives/cooking utensils: Two 3", Three 2.5" and Two 1" pockets run along the bottom and Two 2.5" and Two 1" pockets along the top. 5"x18" interior pocket all solid brass hardware handmade by Linny and Wyatt in the White Mountains of New Hampshire
