A DSB tank wagon buily on Scandis 1949 The model is based on real railway vehicles with a connection to Danish private and state railways. History of the locomotive The locomotive was originally the German Köf DB 322 047. In 1987, it was purchased by Høng–Tølløse Jernbane (HTJ). Under HTJ ownership, it was renumbered Köf 64. DSB purchased the locomotive in 1996 and renumbered it DSB Traktor 1. It was used, among other places, at DSB’s Central Workshop in Copenhagen. The locomotive remained in service there until 2011. From 2011 to 2016, it was stored at the Central Workshop. In September 2016, DSB Traktor 1 was transferred to the Danish Railway Museum in Odense. The locomotive had originally carried the designation Traktor 259, with the vehicle number 98 86 0000 259-2. Today, the locomotive is owned by the Østsjællandske Jernbaneklub. History of the tank wagons The DSB tank wagon belongs to a series of 12 Falkenberg wagons purchased by DSB in 1985. The set also includes a white ESSO tank wagon, built by Scandia in 1949 and featuring a green underframe. This is the first time that this particular wagon has been released as a model.
