Natural Red Eri Tussar Silk Saree
Woven in soft and elegant natural red Eri silk, this saree celebrates the beauty of subtle contrasts and intricate craftsmanship. The soft natural beige body is enriched with delicate self-woven motifs that catch the light with every movement, while the richly detailed indigo border draws inspiration from traditional Bodo Aronai motifs, lending depth and character to the weave. Scattered accents of deep blue and white meenakari across the pallu brings a gentle play of colour, creating a look that feels both classic and refreshingly distinctive. Red Eri is a rare variety found in the Kokrajhar district of Assam that feeds on a particular species of ficus leaves (ficus citrifolia), producing reddish-orange silk cocoons. These cocoons are separated from the white and processed separately, producing the unique and very beautiful red Eri silk.
