Designation Tejo DOC Viticulture The grapes come from vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils, providing the wine with balance, structure and excellent aromatic expression. Harvest Hand-harvested. Winemaking The grapes were fully destemmed and gently crushed, followed by an extended five-day maceration. Alcoholic fermentation took place at a controlled temperature of around 26°C. The wine was aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, followed by a further bottle ageing period of at least 24 months before release. Winemaker Pedro Gil.
