Kākahu Box with Tube - Coming Soon!

A purpose-built archival box for storing kākahu, piupiu, and any other garments and textiles needing to be rolled inside a box. This version includes a custom fitted Archival Tube and support rests, allowing the garment to be stored rolled around the tube and suspended clear of the walls and bottom of the box, reducing pressure points and allowing air to circulate around the item. The box has been designed with the specific proportions for Kākahu in mind and is available in three sizes: Small (890mm), Medium (1040mm), and Large (1195mm) all with a 220 x 220mm profile and a 100mm lid. Made from 3.1mm Fluted Conservation Board that is acid-free, lignin-free, FSC® certified, and passes the Photographic Activity Test (P.A.T.). The base is rivet-fastened for durability and boxes are supplied flat-packed for easy shipping, ready to assemble with a Bone Folder. Please note that assembled boxes cannot be accepted as returns.
