For sale is an antique map of France in the year 1868. This German map is very detailed; please zoom in on the photos to see this clearly. In the bottom left is an inset map of Paris and its surroundings, and in the top right is an index of all 86 departments (the numbers also appear on the main map). Below the map is a beautiful panoramic elevation profile featuring the most important mountain peaks in the Pyrenees and the Alps. The map is a hand-colored copper engraving. Dimensions: 37 x 45.5 cm Condition: the paper has some age-related spots, but is entirely intact. Brown spot at the top of the inset map of Paris. Published with a center fold.
