Ideal for installations where the LED driver needs to be positioned away from the strip lighting, the kit allows you to extend the existing power supply output leads without complicated wiring or soldering. The supplied quick-connect snap-in lever joiner features an easy-to-use locking mechanism. Simply lift the orange levers, insert the corresponding red and black conductors, and snap the levers closed to secure the connection. The extension cable features tin-coated copper conductors with durable PVC insulation, offering flexible cable routing and improved resistance to conductor oxidation. Snap to Secure: Close the orange levers to lock the conductors securely in place. Connect the Extension: Insert the matching red and black conductors of the 3-metre extension cable into the corresponding terminals at the opposite end, then close the levers. Connect the other end of the cable to your single CCT LED strip lighting. Important Installation Information This extension kit is designed for compatible 24V DC, 2-wire single-colour LED strip lighting systems. It is not suitable for RGB, RGBW or other multi-channel LED strips requiring additional conductors. Always match positive (+) to positive (+) and negative (–) to negative (–). Ensure all connections are secure before switching on the power supply. Outdoor Installation: Although the cable features PVC insulation and tin-coated copper conductors, the assembled kit is not supplied with an IP-rated waterproof connection. For exterior installations, the connector and all exposed cable terminations must be housed in a suitable weatherproof enclosure. Important: The extension cable must be appropriately sized for the connected lighting load and total cable run to minimise voltage drop.
