OG Jigs Smiling Bill Bucktail

Some lures come and go, but a good bucktail never goes out of style. The OG Jigs Smiling Bill Bucktail carries on a Northeast fishing tradition with a classic design that has been putting striped bass, bluefish, weakfish, and plenty of other gamefish on the end of the line for generations. The Smiling Bill gets its name from the distinctive open-mouth design of its painted jig head, giving this bucktail its unmistakable profile. Natural bucktail hair and flash accents are hand-tied onto an integral lead collar, creating a durable, traditional bucktail jig with a lifelike appearance in the water. A sturdy, quality hook provides the strength needed when a big striper or an angry bluefish decides it's time to eat. Fish them straight out of the package or dress them up with a pork rind, synthetic jig strip, or soft plastic trailer for added profile and action. Whether you're bouncing one along the bottom, swimming it through the water column, or working it through the surf, the Smiling Bill is a versatile addition to any striped bass angler's arsenal.
