Preparation & Painting The Hatchery Tiles are supplied on a double-sided resin frame for protection during storage and transit. Each tile is held in place by small support struts. Carefully remove these using sharp hobby clippers, then trim any remaining attachment points. Attach the tiles to miniature bases, scenery or models using super glue. The resin is cleaned and fully cured before packaging, so no additional cleaning is required. For best results, apply a suitable miniature primer before painting. Metallic colours, dark washes and glowing green highlights can help create the appearance of ancient alien machinery and technological structures. Weathering effects can add depth to ruined or abandoned environments.
