Its outstretched paws and unexpected predicament bring a touch of humor and spontaneity to the scene. Rather than relying on heavy shading, ShouXin uses light, delicate graphite strokes to suggest the cat’s pale fur and soft form. The carefully observed expression and small details of its paws bring the moment to life, giving the composition a lively yet gentle character.
