ITALIAN BRASS HOLY WATER FONT

Our Italian Brass Holy Water Font is a small wall mounted vessel in warm brass, made to hold holy water or other blessed waters near a doorway, altar, or prayer space. Holy water fonts are inspired by the stoups found at church entrances, where the faithful bless themselves as they cross from the everyday into sacred space. That same practice carried into homes across Italy, Latin America, and the American South, and it lives on in folk Catholic and Hoodoo traditions where blessed water is part of cleansing and protection work. Many practitioners hang a font by the front door to bless themselves on the way in and out, or place one beside an altar to keep blessed water close during prayer. It can be filled with holy water, Florida water, or a spiritual water you prepare yourself. Simple, durable, and rich with history, the Italian Brass Holy Water Font turns a daily threshold into a small moment of intention. SPIRITUAL BENEFITS BLESSING. CLEANSING. DIVINE PROTECTION.
