Anti-Backlash Spur Gears

PIC Design offers precision Anti-Backlash Spur Gears for applications requiring accurate positioning, high precision and minimal backlash between mating gears. The assembly consists of two gears mounted on a common hub and connected by springs. Preloading the springs maintains contact on both sides of the mating gear teeth, reducing or eliminating backlash.
