Choose between the standard dual exit tip configuration for the OEM A3 rear diffuser, or the quad tip option designed for the Audi S3 diffuser. Volume is controlled electronically via the included remote, switching between an aggressive open-valve exhaust note and a stock-like closed-valve tone. CONSTRUCTION The ARM A3 8V Exhaust system uses dual exhaust valves, one for each side of the exhaust, which allows you to drastically change the volume of your A3 electronically via the included remote. This allows you to turn up the volume when you want, and close the valves when you need to for stock-like sound levels. The ARM A3 8V Exhaust is made of TIG welded stainless steel, to give you an exhaust that will last the life of the vehicle. The OEM A3 exhaust system incorporates a large center muffler in addition to the "suitcase" muffler at the rear of the chassis, both of which work to suppress the sound of your Gen 3 EA888. The ARM A3 8V Exhaust replaces the center muffler with a straight section of exhaust piping and improves the rear muffler design to enhance the exhaust note from your 2.0T. The ARM muffler is chambered and insulated with fiberglass to create a deep aggressive tone with the valves open, and a tame stock-like tone with the valves closed. The ARM A3 8V Exhaust comes with both front and rear midpipe sections to reach the muffler. If you're looking for a complete turbo-back setup, simply add an ARM A3 8V Downpipe to the system to achieve a completely upgraded exhaust for your 1.8T or 2.0T. DUAL TIP/QUAD TIP OPTION The standard dual exit setup includes two 3" rolled exhaust tips which match up perfectly to the OEM A3 bumper cutouts and fit the factory rear diffuser. This setup also fits most aftermarket rear diffuser upgrades designed for the standard A3 bumper. The quad tip setup is designed specifically for owners running the Audi S3 rear diffuser, with four tips that fill the S3 diffuser cutouts cleanly for a factory-finished look with. The ARM A3 8V Exhaust comes with two downpipe adapter options: an OEM downpipe adapter for retaining OEM or OEM-sized downpipes, and a 3" downpipe adapter for an upgraded aftermarket downpipe like the ARM A3/S3 Downpipe.
