A great choice for beginners and first projects, and handy spares for your toolbox. What are felting needles used for? Each needle has 9 barbs, three per side, with staggered spacing. The barbs catch the wool fibers and lock them together each time the needle moves in and out. No water or soap is needed, which is why the technique is also called dry felting.
