Kenyan artisans collect dried calabash gourds, which grow well in Kenya, to create these unique maraca shakers. The gourd and jacaranda handle are dyed a lovely warm brown, then the gourd is etched with an assortment of geometric designs. Because this is a handcrafted item, each will vary slightly.
