A watch you’ll look at twice. The design language comes from our very first watch – the Akerfalk First Season. Clean lines, a simple dial and that understated Scandinavian look that has been with us from the beginning. This time, we’ve taken that familiar design and given it a more traditional 12-hour layout. The silk white dial gives it a lighter, more refined character. Look closer and you’ll find a flash of blue in the seconds hand – inspired by the blue of the Swedish flag and a subtle nod to our Swedish roots. Then you notice the way it moves. Instead of the familiar quartz tick, the seconds hand moves smoothly across the dial, giving the watch the character and feeling we normally associate with a mechanical timepiece. Inside is a Japanese Mecha Quartz movement. You get the charm of that sweeping movement, combined with the simplicity and reliability of quartz. No winding. No fuss. Just put it on and go.
