Intro & New Features For the 2026 season, Warrior has released the newest edition of the Krypto Pro glove. With a tapered fit, AxyFlex thumb and cuff, ProPalm, and Lycra gussets, the Krypto Pro is a fantastic glove for the elite player. As a Source Exclusive item, these gloves offer a combination of features that can’t be found on regular retail gloves. Construction Warrior has utilized an anatomical tapered fit in the making of the Krypto Pro glove. Contouring to the natural shape of your hand, this glove provides optimal control and comfort as you handle the puck. Backhand Protection Using an extremely lightweight blend of foam, that being the HD VN (High-Density, Viscoelastic-Neutralizing) foam and a mid-density foam, and strategically placed plastic inserts, the backhand is protected without adding unnecessary bulk. Cuff The AxyFlex Cuff used in the Krypto Pro allows for superior movement without leaving wrists out in the open. This cuff excels in superior slash protection, enhanced mobility, and aligns itself with the tapered fit to create an ideal fit profile for the player. External Material The Covert Krypto Pro gloves are outfitted with a premium nylon exterior, a classic choice for a reason, due to its resistance against wear and tear and ability - and to survive multiple blows and slashes on the ice. Finger Design & Protection Like the backhand, the fingers are constructed of the HD VN and mid-density foam blend, with strategic plastic inserts to protect against slashes and shots. With the anatomical tapered fit, the fingers have more mobility than that of a standard fit glove, allowing the player more freedom in their hand movement. Additionally, Warrior has added a 3-piece construction to the index finger, for that extra boost in mobility. Gussets Paired with the gloves are the Lycra gussets, providing superior mobility and movement throughout the glove. Liner Using Warrior’s signature WarTech liner, the Krypto Pro gloves wick away sweat and moisture to keep you dry and odor-free. Palm Material The gloves use Warrior’s ProPalm with an embossed grip overlay to increase control and maneuverability. The ProPalm is used in elite-level gloves, notably for its high abrasion resistance and durable qualities. Paired with the embossed grip, this palm is one of the best options in the game right now. Thumb Design The AxyFlex thumb is found in the Krypto Pro gloves, a design which works in tandem with foam mesh gussets to increase movement where it is normally difficult or stiff. Like the fingers and the rest of the glove’s construction, the thumb is also meant to contour around the hand naturally, providing the best fit.
