Santa's Pants Daylily

Santa's Pants Daylily ‘Santa’s Pants’ daylily adds a jolly boost of color to the mid season garden. A spider type variety, blooms are a thin 6″ with cherry red petals with yellow midribs and tan to cream edge above chartreuse throat. Registered at 39″ tall but is closer to 3′ in our East Tennessee garden. As a mid season bloomer, we begin to see the cheerful blooms of Santa's Pants around the middle of June. If you live to our north, you'll see them a bit after we do. If you live to our south, you'll notice them a couple of weeks before us. Nice rebloom means you get to see these beauties off and on throughout the season. Santa's Pants is a semi-evergreen daylily. That means it can be grown in gardens across the country. To make these blooms really pop in the garden plant them with creamy near white, rich purple and bold, bright yellow single and double bloomed daylilies.
