The Rosa Dandelion by Korewolamp A globe of blush pink glass, held in gold The Rosa Dandelion takes its shape from the dandelion clock, the moment a flower turns into a sphere of seeds. We rebuilt that moment in glass: a gold or nickel globe at the center, slim stems radiating outward, and a pink glass disc at the tip of every stem. Every chandelier is assembled disc by disc. Small 4.3″ discs fill the sphere, larger 5.9″ discs give it its bloom, and each one is pressed with a fine radial texture that softens the bulbs into an even rose-gold glow. Lit, the blush glass warms the light in a way that flatters faces, food and wood. Unlit, the textured discs still catch daylight from the window, so this pink glass sputnik chandelier never looks flat in an empty afternoon room. The 15.7″ (40 cm) size suits rooms of about 8 × 8 ft to 10 × 10 ft and tables up to 36″ wide. The 23.6″ (60 cm) size suits rooms of about 12 × 12 ft to 15 × 15 ft and tables 36″ to 48″ wide. Gold or nickel: which finish should I choose?Gold is warm and mid-century, and deepens the rose tone of the glass; it pairs well with walnut, brass and velvet. Nickel is cooler and more contemporary, making the pink glass stand out against white walls, marble and grey tones. The glass is the same blush pink in both. How pink is the glass when the lights are on?When lit, the textured glass glows a soft rose-gold rather than a saturated pink. It reads as warm and elegant, not novelty, which is why it works in dining rooms and bedrooms as well as dressing rooms and boutiques. Is the Rosa Dandelion dimmable?No. It uses a standard on/off switch and is not dimmable. For a softer evening glow, use warm white 2700K LED bulbs at a lower wattage. For double-height rooms, stairwells and two-story entries we make the chain and cord to your measured length. Send us the floor-to-ceiling height and how high you want the chandelier to hang. Can it be installed on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?Yes. We supply an angled mount for sloped, vaulted and attic ceilings so the chandelier hangs straight. Tell us the ceiling angle, or send a photo of the ceiling, when you order. Which bulbs does it take?The 40 cm size takes 9 bulbs and the 60 cm size takes 13. Choose E12 (standard in the US and Canada) or E14 (standard in Europe, the UK and much of Asia). Each socket supports up to 40W. LED bulbs are recommended: they run cooler next to the glass and use far less power. How is it shipped and assembled?The glass discs are packed separately to protect them in transit. Mount the canopy, hang the frame on its chain, then fit each disc onto its stem. It works on AC 110–240V; we recommend installation by a licensed electrician. How do I clean the glass discs?Switch off the power and let the bulbs cool. Dust the discs with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For a deeper clean, lift the discs off their stems, wash them by hand in lukewarm water with a little mild soap, and let them dry completely before refitting.
