Designed by renowned Japanese industrial designer Sori Yanagi, this compact cast iron pan brings together traditional Nambu Tekki craftsmanship and Yanagi’s timeless approach to functional design. The thick cast iron construction absorbs and distributes heat evenly, making it ideal for cooking and serving directly at the table. Its compact 16 cm size is particularly suited to individual portions, from fried eggs and breakfast dishes to shakshuka, Spanish omelettes, ajillo, grilled vegetables and small shared dishes. It can move directly from stovetop to oven and then to the table. Designed in 1999, the pan features a subtly curved rim that makes pouring easier.
