The easy to install BlackVue OBD-II Power Cable makes activating Parking Mode a breeze. By connecting directly to your vehicle's OBD-II port, it eliminates the need for complicated hardwiring, keeping your car’s wiring intact. Just plug and unplug it three times, and on the fourth plug, the cable will reset itself, ready for use in a new vehicle. The Power Of Parking Mode BlackVue dash cams automatically switch to Parking Mode to monitor your parked vehicle. With video buffering, a few seconds before an event is triggered are also recorded. BlackVue supports two Parking Mode options. Motion & Impact Detection mode Motion & Impact Detection Parking Mode detects both: Motions: Recorded by the image sensor (marked “P” in the file list). Impacts: Detected by the accelerometer/G-sensor (marked “E” in the file list). Choose detection regions to reduce the risk of triggering unwanted motion recordings due to trees swaying in the wind, far-away moving objects, etc. Time lapse mode* Continuously records at 1FPS (one frame per second). Videos are played back at 30FPS. 1-minute Time lapse Parking Mode video = 30 minutes real time coverage. Cover a period of more than 62 hours on a single 64GB microSD card at the highest (Extreme) quality setting. When an impact is detected, the dashcam creates a buffered Event video. (*) Not supported by DR590X Series models. Enhanced Parking Mode Features BlackVue dash cams offer advanced features to keep you informed and ensure optimal performance while your vehicle is parked. Parking Mode Event Voice Notifications Upon exiting Parking Mode, your BlackVue notifies you if Events were recorded, so you can check the videos right away in the BlackVue App. Scheduled Reboot Schedule a daily automatic reboot to minimize errors. The dashcam reboots only when in Parking Mode and not writing data. Super Stealthy Turn off all LED indicators in Parking Mode, except for a subtle interior-facing LED that blinks when motion or impact is detected.
