On 22 June 1963, a silver Ferrari 250 GTO lined up at Le Mans wearing a French tricolore from nose to tail. Chassis 4153GT. Pierre Dumay and Léon Dernier drove it to fourth overall and second in class. That car later sold privately for 70 million dollars — the highest price ever recorded for a Ferrari.
