Textured Vegetable Protein Chunks
Three simple ingredients. 100 g of dry TVP yields nearly 500 g once rehydrated — enough for several hearty portions. 200g Ingredients: organic pea protein concentrate, organic faba protein concentrate, salt. Allergies: packaged in a factory where gluten, sesame, mustard, soy, nuts are present. Preparation: Method 1 - For each cup of TVP, add 5 cups of boiling water and let hydrate for 30 minutes. Pour the soaked TVP through a strainer and remove excess water. Add your favorite sauces or seasonings. Method 2 - For each cup of TVP, add 5 cups of water in a pan and bring to a boil on the stovetop. Add your favorite seasoning and let simmer until all water evaporates.
