David Puzzle Bracelet

This is the David Puzzle Bracelet, named after an autistic child from our online community. Mom says, "My baby boy was born October 13th, 2019 during a time I was transitioning out of the service. We started to notice some things that were unique to Dave as he got older (1-4). The stimming, fixations, lack of eye contact, verbal delays etc.. it's was our first child so we became concerned. We took him to a specialist and he was diagnosed with autism. They told us he was going to be non verbal and dependent on us for his entire life. That's such a heartbreaking thing to hear. Feelings of what did we do wrong? Why can't my baby have the life he deserves? Why are we scared? lol typical feelings. But then something amazing started happening once we enrolled him in the Montessori school. Without us being with him 24/7, he learned how to be independent. He started talking. He started understanding how to communicate with others! His pronunciation and sentences structures get better everyday! I could go on about how sweet, smart, loving, and intelligent my boy is. The quality I love the most about David Noah is how empowering he is without knowing. He makes our life better everyday. He is loved in school. And he's just himself, every second, every minute, 24/7. That is rare. These children are amazing and they are genuinely themselves." The puzzle piece has been used to reflect the unknowns of autism and how it works as a diagnosis. I look at it as it reflects the unique qualities of our autism community. They are an important piece to the masterpiece of our lives. Each bracelet is adjustable to easily slip over your hand and tightened to fit. They are beautiful on their own or layered with other pieces.
